Amy “AYEINEM” Mitchell is a Brooklyn-based dance artist whose work blends movement, storytelling, and bold visual aesthetics. Rooted in years of training in hip-hop, street styles, and diverse dance forms, she creates work for stage, screen, and camera—often merging choreography with narrative and visual design.
Alongside her creative practice, Amy teaches at established institutions including Steps on Broadway, Alvin Ailey, and Brooklyn Arts Exchange, bringing her artist-driven approach into the classroom. Her dance visuals—movement-driven works she choreographs, directs, and performs in—serve as a space for deeper exploration of identity, emotion, and embodiment.
With a background spanning choreography, performance, and on-camera work, Amy approaches each project with intention, clarity, and style—pushing boundaries while inviting authenticity through movement and imagery.
